Shit luck
I know I've been absent a lot here. 2009 has been a trying year. I started off the first week of January with a concussion. Started off February getting knocked out. Started off the second Monday in march getting knocked out, and a serious concussion including a flat spot on the back of my skull through a helmet. Broke my hand, nose, several loose teeth, etc... jacked up pretty good.
My father-in-law died a week later and I spent a couple of weeks in Missouri dealing with that. May came and with it my basement flooded for almost two months. Still working out the kinks from that one. I spent the last month in Missouri with my sister-in-law who is in the final stages of her cancer. She is day to day now and shutting down. I returned home Sunday to sleeve out a soldier who is home on leave. I planned on coming home for three days to do the sleeve then return to MO to care for my sis. I walked in to my house to find it had been broken into and cleaned out. They even stole from my 3 yr. old daughter. Took all of her piggy banks with the last two years worth of change and money that came in cards in the mail. Took my father-in-laws personal effects from my wife. Then they lit a fire in my kitchen. I can't imagine what's next. I'm supposed to go to CA next month. I better wear a parachute on the plane. end rant... |

Bro! so sorry to hear that! damn man Sorry about your sister and hope she finds peace soon. I had a year like that years ago.
I got an R1 three months ago and now you scare the shit out of me bro. All the accidents were bike accidents and fights? Just hang tight man, some times life puts us through tough tests that we must overcome. When it rains, it pours but also, it stops. We'll ask for God to give you the strength to keep going. I just open a second shop and like I said I have a spot for you for a guesspot or whatever you want to do. Maybe you need a mini vacation to miami. Peace bro. Gaston |

take it easy on the R1.
no bike accidents or fights here. All the head injuries were from skating a 12' halfpipe. Over-rotated airing out on it and smacked my head on the bottom a couple of times. the last one was almost the big one My sister passed away last week finally after a rough fight. The last week of her life was not really living. She was wasting away daily and suffering. I still would like to come down sometime. I'm off to CA in a couple of weeks. Today was my first day back at the shop in what feels like forever. I worked enough while away to cover the cost of food and gas etc.. while away from home. Still have not received the insurance check for the break-in/fire. At least I get to sleep in my own bed now and can get back to life as normal as it can be. I just bought some absinthe the other day so that is helping ease my mind a little Hoping everything get's back to normal for 2010 |

"Hoping everything get's back to normal for 2010"
Amen to that, Mr. P. What a nightmare! I hope things continue to ease up. Sorry for all you've been through, man. |
