i have used various healing methods for my ink ie; baciguent , mystery hand out ointment form the artist and such. i rarley scabed but when i did it usualy ended up in a scar. *shrugs*.

i usualy beat the itch with a ruler or a stick and a couple of quick slaps. takes the itch away, all the pleasure of scratching with none of the hasle!

I was waiting for the itching, or the scabbing, or the peeling with mine, but it never happened. I do heal easily in normal situations, and don't scar much, so i guess it is the same for the tattoo. I kept waiting for the maddening itch that i wasn't allowed to scratch, but it never came.
Could also be the products I used for after care. I used Protat wash and creme, an Australian-made product that specialises in tattoo and piercing aftercare. Love it!

I don't have much itching either. I'm 10 days out no scabbing, but I had some small patches, nothing to speak of really. The surface of the tattoo is still really dry minutes after lotion, but the rest of my arm is soft as a baby's butt!

that is odd all the tattoos i have scabed up "b&g never does" but areas where there is solid black or solid color always does. seems like the new black i am useing scabs more than kurosumi did maybe because there is more to it? i am useing dermaglo and eternal colors my artist uses the same stuff on me?
